YOGA BASICS

S. Hata Building

Service Description

This class focuses on supporting the musculoskeletal system, both major and minor structures of the body. We use both classical and modern yoga poses while adding variations to increase blood flow, mobility and flexibility. This class is intended to guide you through life with less pain and more comfort. Your instructor will use props to assist in maximizing the benefits of poses that are held for longer periods to allow tension to release. While this class is low impact, it is beneficial for those with athletic lifestyles to help prevent injury. Whether you run cross country or simply want to find comfort in your body, this is the class for you. Every student works at their personal pace. Movement paired with intentional breath work make for the perfect way to create a sustainable practice.

Cancellation Policy

Please cancel up to 3 hours prior to class start to receive a reschedule for your visit. Failure to cancel within the 3 hour cancellation period will result in a non refundable visit and considered a no show. If you are on a monthly membership or active and fit plan there will be a $5 penalty fee per no show. Please note our new address 308 Kamehameha Ave. Ste. 109 + 111 located in the S. Hata building across from Cafe Pesto. If you are running late for class and the front door is locked please use the side entrance by continuing down the main hallway for the S. Hata building, past the mailboxes and take the door to your right, the next door connects to the studio and will be propped open for anyone running late.
